    All applicants for certifying examinations must complete applications online during the registration periods. The final month of each registration requires payment of a late fee. The requirements for online applications may be found on the ABP Website: www.abp.org or may be obtained by contacting the ABP. Additional information including eligibility requirements and registration dates may also be found on the ABP Website.

    Turkish-Greek joint postgraduate course endorsed by ESPGHAN about “Advances in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition” will be held in Cappadocia, Turkey between October 5-8, 2006.

    Programme for Global Paediatric Research Symposium and Workshop: “Antenatal and Intrapartum Causes of Perinatal Asphyxia and Stillbirths in Developing Countries.” October 5-6, 2006, Bangkok, Thailand. PGPR’s (www.globalpaediatricresearch.org) fourth symposium will be held in conjunction with the 14th Congress of the Federation of Asia and Oceania Perinatal Societies (www.faops2006thailand.org). This three-part symposium will focus on the antenatal and intrapartum causes of perinatal asphyxia and stillbirths in developing countries. Part 1 and 3 will be comprised of expert presentations providing an overview of the issues and region-specific information. Part 2 will feature platform presentations from abstracts selected following an international call.
